PCW Personal Development Camps: A Student's Reflection

Pastoral Care camp is beneficial to a student for many reasons. Not only does it educate us about general subjects such as math, science, English, and more, it also gives us a new perspective on religion and society. It allows us to experience our religion differently to what we would in a religion class. It is very eye-opening and discusses many problems in society. Frequent discussions are made about Islam and how we can become better Muslims by completing the smallest of acts. Pastoral care camp isn't only a place for leisure time outside school hours, it enlightens us about our religion and helps us in areas we may be struggling.

During Pastoral Care camps, teachers try their utmost best to provide a comfortable environment for the students while maintaining the respect level between teachers and students. Alongside the fun and engaging activities, our teachers help us in subjects we find difficult. Whether we need some help in understanding a maths equation or completing an assessment for English, we always have the support we need to go on. Pastoral Care camp is not only useful for the students but it strengthens us to become the people society needs.
